According to a survey by CWT and Ambition, more than three quarters (78%) of businesspeople prefer meeting in-person to using technology-enabled communications such as video-conferencing – primarily because meeting face-to-face helps them build more meaningful relationships, read people’s body language and facial expressions, and makes it easier to get their point across and be persuasive.
